Rick Valenta, Director of the Sustainable Minerals Institute at The University of Queensland, spoke atCESCO 2024, a major exploration forum focused on mining sustainability. 

Professor Valenta, an expert in geology and geophysics, spoke about the new paradigm for pre-competitive support of mining exploration and development, in the framework of our long-term collaboration and partnership with the Department of Resources (Queensland).

Doug Aitken and Francisca RiveroExecutive Director and General Manager of SMI-ICE-Chile—also attended this important mining industry event, where they had the chance to speak with executives, government authorities, academics and consultants.
