Line of research: Environmental Rehabilitation and Ecosystem Dynamics
Dilan is a Geologist from the University of Concepción, specialising in strategic water resource management and innovation. His experience focuses on the development of innovative solutions for the mining industry, from concept development through to implementation, integrating expertise in geochemistry with approaches aimed at preventing acid rock drainage (ARD).
He has extensive experience in innovation and the management of research, development and innovation (R&D&I) projects, leading multidisciplinary teams and combining the scientific evaluation of complex systems with sustainable and efficient strategies for the mining industry.
