Percy graduated from the National University of Engineering in Lima, Peru, with a degree in metallurgical engineering. Following his early years in industry, he joined JKTech’s Peruvian representative office, where he worked with all the company’s technological tools, including the modelling and simulation software for mineral processing circuits. Before joining JKTech, Percy worked as a metallurgical engineer at Freeport McMoRan Copper & Gold, at the Cerro Verde mine in Peru.
