Maureen works collaboratively with industry professionals to develop people-centred approaches to risk management and safety engineering, aimed at improving companies’ operational performance and competitiveness.
She also develops and delivers training, educational programmes and specialist consultancy in process safety, safety systems engineering, risk management and human factors, for both students and industry.
Her research is underpinned by 30 years of professional experience across various countries and in a range of roles, including specialist engineering, line management, organisational change processes and business performance improvement functions.
